The affected highways include the North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE), New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Guthrie Corridor Expressway, North-South Expressway, MEX Highway, and KL-Seremban Expressway.
Among the roads affected are the Lebuh KLIA, Putrajaya Ring Road, as well as several major roads in the city, such as Jalan Istana, Jalan Damansara, Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, Jalan Ampang, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Jalan Parlimen, and Jalan Kuching.
The 47th ASEAN Summit marks the culmination of Malaysia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025, under the theme ‘Inclusivity and Sustainability’.
Among the world leaders expected to attend are United States President Donald Trump, Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Meanwhile, Fahmi said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed his appreciation to enforcement agencies for their firm action against corruption and smuggling cartels, resulting in the recovery of about RM15.5 billion over the past two years.
The agencies include the Royal Malaysia Police, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, Royal Malaysian Customs Department and the Control and Border Protection Agency.
“This proves that stricter enforcement by the relevant agencies can help reduce leakages and criminal activities that cause losses to the country,” he said.
